HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
New Phone
Change is hard for everyone. This week we made the decision to get rid of our landline in the new year. Since my son, Kris passed away his iPhone had been here at the house. A couple of years ago Mr. Dollycas upgraded it to an iPhone 7 and it was mostly used by our grandson to watch videos when he was here. About a year ago I started using it myself for social media and games. Lately, I have been using it for calls too. A few people were shocked because they had the number saved in their phones as Kris’. Hopefully, we are beyond that, but family if you see his name pop up on your phone, that is just me. I too wish he was the one calling. I feel connected to him keeping his number.
So yesterday Mr. Dollycas and Daughter #2 decided it was time for an upgrade again. They worked yesterday on transferring stuff from the old phone to the new. Today I will have to get acclimated to it and its new features. The first thing I noticed is that is doesn’t have a home key. This should be fun 😯
How was your week?

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK!

What? I didn’t even realize there was an iPhone 11! No home button? What? I have somehow gotten comfortable with my iPhone 6, and, unlike my earlier iPhones, it never seems to fill up. I am glad I got a big storage spot. I am not a fan of changing phones, but I bet you are loving all the new features.
People might shy away from becoming authors if they read some of your books this week, I think. lol I’m reading a mystery this week, the latest Janet Evanovich book. In this one, Grandma Mazur gets married, though her husband has a heart attack and dies after 45 minutes of marriage.
Have a lovely week!
I’m glad you are making progress in your healing but I really wonder if you want to get rid of the land line….cell service can easily be disrupted while landlines seldom, if ever, fail…I so enjoy your columns , especially the Sunday forum….thank you!
I sure hope you have better luck with cell phones than I do. Part of the problem is living in the foothills of the Smoky’s and reception is impossible!
Please have the best of holiday seasons, and a terrific 2020 to you and yours.
Love your Blog!
I’m still using an iphone5, our landline rarely gets used but I’m not quite ready to part with it yet.
Wishing you a great reading week
