HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Just Me and My Dogs
After Mr. Dollycas being home sick on Monday and Tuesday, I was so happy to get back to my normal routine of just me and the dogs the rest of the week. We are pretty set in our ways with me at the computer and them wanting to go outside every hour in the morning, finally settling down for their afternoon nap about 1 p.m. I even stepped away from the computer early a couple of days to do some reading. Watch for my review this week of In An Instant by Suzanne Redfearn. It was an emotional read and very hard to put down. It was also a little break from the cozy mysteries I usually read.
As I am typing this I received a call from Daughter #1. She is home sick with a 102+ fever. Totally different from the cold Mr. Dollycas had. Daughter #2 is on her way to pick up the boys so she can rest. I just hope and pray they don’t bring her bug with them. That is the last thing we need. But I have been missing them so I am glad they are headed this way.
I hope everyone is healthy and well at your house.
~Lori

Your Escape Into A Good Book Travel Agent
I feel your pain with sick loved ones. My daughter in law called last week to let us know that both she and my three year old grandson were sick. They don’t live near me and I so wished I was there to help!
Copied the Norman Cousins quote into my notebook. Thanks. You achieved a great deal of reading this week, girl!
Lots of great new reads this week!!
I’m sorry to hear about all the illness you’ve been dealing with. I hope everyone is on the road to recovery.
Those cozy covers are so pretty 🙂
Have a great week!
It seems like everyone has been dealing with sickness during the last couple of weeks. I hope it warms up soon and drives all the flu and cold germs away.
Look at all those beautiful covers of books that have come your way. I especially like the cover of Mimi Lee.
Have a lovely week and let’s hope all the sicknesses are gone soon.
Enjoy your family! I hope you wind up germ free. Have a great week!
