The Sunday Salon is a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.

It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
You can also link up weekly on Readerbuzz.

SUNDAY POST The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by
Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer
~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!

Thank you to everyone for helping me to celebrate my blogoversary. All the digital prizes have been sent and all the print books were mailed out yesterday. A special thank you shout out to Valerie Burns for making my blogoversary extra special!

Our grandson Thomas turned 4 last week! He has been battling pneumonia and bronchitis the past couple of weeks so we will celebrate when he is feeling better.

A New Addition

Our family has grown by 4 paws. May I introduce you to Miss Daisy Mae. She is a red heeler and was from a nearby farm.

Our house just hasn’t been the same since we lost our doggies last fall. As soon as I saw these puppies on Facebook Friday night I put Mr. Dollycas on the case and he and Daughter #2 picked her up yesterday. She is from a litter of 12 but she chose Daughter #2 immediately and they truly bonded on the way home. It’s been over 18 years since we have had a puppy in the house so this should be interesting and fun as we train her. We are all just excited to have this furry little girl in the house. I am sure I will have many stories to share.

  1. I’m so sorry your grandson is ill and pray for a speedy recovery…good news re the puppy! That should liven things up quite a bit! Not quite sure how I missed an entire week + of your emails but so glad to be back on the list today! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

  2. Oh but I do hope your grandson gets well soon. This is no fun for anyone much less a child. Awww your puppy is adorable. I love her name. So sweet. My sister has had Blue Heelers for many years. I have never heard of a Red Heeler. Cool. Maybe because of his coloring. Have fun with this little girl. Having a puppy will all come back. Oh I love the quote at the end. Thanks for shairng.

  3. I’m sorry your grandson was sick and couldn’t have his birthday party yet. Miss Daisy Mae is adorable, it will be fun to have a lovely puppy around. I adopted a kitty two years ago and had forgotten how… energetic ! they can be. Enjoy your week 🙂

  4. Love your new pup! We got our Smoky for Christmas 2019, and have found out that Aussiedoodles are Border Collies on steroids, lol. Always had laid back labs, and this is lightning unleashed and we love him to death. I know you’ll enjoy every minute of spoiling her rotten!
Hope your grandson recovers quickly. It’s tough being sick.
