HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
It was a quiet week around here. My heart broke on Thursday when I learned a friend I had had since grade school passed away after suffering the past few years with ALS. I wish we had gotten to spend more time together but I have some great memories that span the years. My sympathy goes out to her family who lost her much too soon.
Snow was the highlight of the week. We had several inches fall both Sunday and Thursday so of course, our snowblower refused to start. Son #2 came to our aid on Sunday. On Thursday when Daughter #2 arrived home from work she couldn’t get the car in the driveway due to some nice drifts. She grabbed a shovel and started making a path while waiting for her brother but then this amazing man on a riding snow blower came down the street and asked her if she would like him to make a few passes for her. She was very happy to say yes. He made quick work of it and soon her car was in the driveway. Our son arrived shortly after but since the snow was still coming down heavily he decided to wait until Friday to clear the sidewalks and front porch. Now all the snow has been cleared and the frigid temperatures have set in. I think I would rather have more snow. LOL
I hope to find the wonderful man with the snowblower so I can thank him too!

Sorry to read about your friend’s death from ALS. My husband lost a cousin a few months ago to ALS also. So tragic. My Sunday Salon
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend this week, Lori. I, too, lost a childhood friend this week. She passed away after suffering in the ICU for six weeks with Covid.
My poor son and daughter-in-law have been hit hard with snow this week. I think they are trying to figure out a way to buy a snowblower.
I miss print books from publishers, but I understand completely.
I hope you will have a good week.
The cozy mysteries always sound so fun! A neighbor came by and cleared my driveway since hubs was out of town last weekend. Yay! So sorry for the loss of your friend – there is truly never enough time with good friends. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your February
I’m so sorry about your friend, such sad news…
We had a lot of snow today and it’s slowly melting but turning to ice during the night, so I’m glad we don’t have to go out. I hope you can find the man with the snowblower ! Have a peaceful week 🙂
