A Week in the Life of Dollycas
Last week it was the stomach flu, this week Daughter #2 and Charlotte decided to share their colds with me. I am so sick of being sick especially when we have beautiful days like we have had the past couple of days. It was windy but I love the warmer temperatures.
Also this week, Mr. Dollycas got his 2nd COVID shot so now there are two of us fully vaccinated in the house. He is enjoying the warmer temperatures too. Last weekend, he and Son #2 traveled to my mother-in-law’s to bring home his riding lawnmower. The yard at the other place was too small for it and while this new yard isn’t huge it is big enough for his rider and he is thrilled. Of course, after being stored for 8 years it did need a little TLC, but hearing it run is music to my ears.
How was your week?

Boy. You have been hit hard with sickness. I hope you will get over your cold quickly and that that is the beginning of a season of excellent health.
I know so many men who love to mow, including my dad, my brother, and my husband. It seems to be a calming activity.
Thanks for sharing Mental Health Awareness Month. I try to work to keep my mood elevated with activities that promote happiness. It’s a challenge.
Sorry to hear you’re sick but glad to hear you’ve had your covid vaccine! That’s great news.
