HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
A Week in the Life of Dollycas
We got some much-needed rain in the area this week. I actually enjoyed the thunder and lightning show but there was some hail too. Daisy wasn’t too bothered by the thunder except for the one time it sounded like it hit the house. It was a loud boom that made us all jump.
I spent the week reading, writing reviews, and working on book tours. It is going to be a wonderful summer for cozy mystery lovers. I see many late nights reading in my future to squeeze them all in even though I promised myself to slow down and not overbook myself and add unwanted stress. I am still trying to find the balance I lost last year when chemo brain really shook things up.
Yesterday we were surprised by a visit from Daughter #1 and Kaden, Son #2 arrived with Charlie too. Daughter #1 hadn’t been here since we moved in and it was great to see her smiling face. I quickly grabbed a photo before they left to mark Father’s Day this year. I am yearning for a family day to get the whole group together but with everyone’s work schedule it isn’t easy.

I am so grateful to things my father gave to me.
We’ve had rain, too, and it looks like more rain is coming this week. It certainly cools things off.
I’m glad that you see this summer as great for cozy mystery lovers. And I’m glad you are feeling energetic enough to do more this year.
So lovely that a lot of your family was able to get together. I hope that everyone will be able to come together soon.
Sugar and Vice…that looks like great fun!
So nice you got a visit from your family!
Glad you are feeling more energetic and able to accomplish more. Looks like some great cozies coming out this summer. So many books, so little time…
We got quite a bit of rain as well and thunder and lightning. I love a good thunderstorm!
Have a good week!
