HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
A Week in the Life of Dollycas
Our week started with the 4th of July at my mother-in-law’s house with family and friends. I decided to completely unplug and left my phone in the car to just enjoy the day. The trouble with that is my phone is my camera so I took no pictures to share. My niece did capture this cute picture of some of the little ones.
My grands Thomas and Charlotte are in the middle. Natalie, Kaden, and Remi were there, they just didn’t get in on the picture. The grandpups, Daisy and Thunder, also joined the party. We all attended the local parade and then returned for some fun, food, and catching up on all the things we missed in the 18 months since we had been together. It was wonderful to have family from Kentucky join us, our nephew Nick was home from Arizona with his dog Karma, and one of Mr. Dollycas’s cousin’s dropped by with his wife. I can’t remember the last time we saw them. All together about 40 people gathered for a good time. Mr. Dollycas and I headed for home with Daisy when the kids and grandkids headed for the carnival and to watch the fireworks.
It was back to work for me on Monday, but everyone else had the day off. In fact, Mr. Dollycas was on vacation from work the rest of the week, at least he was supposed to be, but one of the problems of working from home and taking a staycation is that his computer is here and he was caught working way too much. He did complete a few things on his honey-do list but with me working we didn’t really do anything fun. Well, maybe next year 🙂

It looks like you had a fabulous time together on the Fourth. I understand your wish to unplug and just enjoy each other’s company. I often get frustrated when people check their phones while I’m visiting with them. Glad you got a picture of some of the kids.
It’s difficult to work from home. I was always supposed to be off during the summer, but they always managed to find me and have me doing one project or another.
Wow, your 4th sounds amazing! It is so good to be able to get together with family/friends you haven’t seen in such a long time.
Those little ones are so cute!
My oldest son works from home and is always getting calls etc.
I hope you have a great week!
I’m so glad you were able to spend some time with family! Taking pictures is usually the last thing I think of at gatherings. Glad you had somebody that thought to take pictures.
Have a good week!
Sounds like a great time was had by all and those little kids are too cute!!
