HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
A Week in the Life of Dollycas
Tuesday was a day of celebration as our Milwaukee Bucks won the National Basketball Championship. Mr. Dollycas watched most of the games, me not so much although I did watch the playoff games and they really got my heart rate up. Tuesday night was just crazy as we counted down the seconds. The team had not won a championship since 1971 so I was thrilled by their wins.
Midweek the littlest grandchildren brought home a bug from daycare and quickly passed it on to Papa. The kids are still running around like crazy but Mr. Dollycas is down for the count. He is taking several medications and resting as much a possible. We hope to kick that bug to the curb quickly.
Thursday had Son #2 going to Urgent Care. He was in a lot of pain and was having trouble breathing. They diagnosed him with pneumonia and sent him home with meds and was told to rest. That didn’t last long. Friday night he was here to mow our lawn and is spending the weekend moving his family about an hour away. I am worried because I know he is overdoing it and sad because we won’t get to see the littlest grands as often as we do now. We have been really spoiled have them nearby and popping in several times a week.
I am doing my best to keep away from all the sick people and read, watch television, write blog posts, and promote book tours. I did have one surprise yesterday. Daughter #2 picked up Kaden so he could help Son #2 move. They stopped here first so I got a Kaden hug. I hope to see him again before he heads home.

So sorry to hear of the illnesses…🙏🏻🙏🏻 all SIL be well soon!
Yours,
We’ve had some illnesses floating around here. I haven’t been directly around the sick. Thank goodness for communication by phone!
Our son and his family just moved four hours away. I know we are going to miss them so much.
Wow! Nine new books at your place. Enjoy!
We’ve been getting sick a lot over here lately – every week some bug or the other. So I feel for you and your family. I hope you all feel better soon! Enjoy the time with the grandkids when possible!
Sorry some of your family members have been sick. I hope they are all better now.
I used to live about 5 min. from my daughter and 20 min. from my oldest son Jeremy and now I live next door to Jeremy and 20 min. from my daughter. My other son Anthony lived with me and my husband who was disabled in case I needed him for anything. After my husband passed away he bought the house next to Jeremy and asked me to move in with him so I wouldn’t be alone. Having family close is very important.
I hope you have a great week!
