A Week in the Life of Dollycas
Brrrrrr! The cold weather has arrived to this part of the country. We also had a sprinkling of snow mixed with rain that is clearing the trees of their beautiful colorful leaves. At our old house, we had just pine trees. Here we have a growing maple tree but the neighbors have 2 giant ones that have filled our lawn and driveway with leaves so this Nana may be enlisting some rakers when the ground dries out a bit. We can probably use a snow shovel to clear the ones from the paved part of the driveaway before then though. And I may have the perfect person here for that job here this weekend.
Mr. Dollycas, Daughter #2, and I joined Kaden’s parents and Remi Friday night at Applebee’s to celebrate his 14th birthday. How can that be possible? 14 years! I remember that day like it was yesterday.
He has grown into a wonderful young man that I have had the pleasure to brag to you about for almost his whole life. He came home with us last night, you know because, we have the Xbox, tee hee. He really is a big help when he is here with things like shoveling leaves and helping Mr. Dollycas move furniture that was placed over heat vents during our quick move into this place.
Mr. Dollycas has been doing well at his promotion duties for the Great Escapes Tours and now he wants a title. LOL So yesterday, we came up with the Vice President of Promotions and Social Media Engagement. Quite a fancy title for a volunteer. Wait until I introduce him to setting up Rafflecopter Giveaways, he will probably want a raise.
