HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
A Week in the Life of Dollycas
Last Sunday felt like a Hallmark kind of night and I love Alison Sweeney so when I saw she was involved in a new movie trilogy I knew I had to watch it. So I started with The Wedding Veil closely followed by The Wedding Veil Unveiled and The Wedding Veil Legacy. Good things do come in 3’s. I enjoyed all 3 movies very much. They were perfect for a low-key relaxing evening.
Later in the week, I am all our eyes turned to Ukraine. My heart breaks for its people and the people of Russia who want nothing to do with war. You may know Maxim Chmerkovsky and his brother Val from Dancing With The Stars. They immigrated from the Ukraine in the 1990s. Maxim posted to his social media accounts on Friday saying “There is always another way! War is never an answer!” Yesterday I also received an email from a candle company in Door County. The owner is a Ukrainian American and she is selling candles to raise money for Razom Ukraine. While we may not personally know anyone from Ukraine it is important to the us here in the United States, especially after what happened in Washington on December 6. I am not going to get on my soapbox expect to say I STAND WITH UKRAINE.

It lifts me up so much to hear you speaking about Standing with Ukraine. I wish there was something I could do to help the people there. Imagine being invaded. It must be horrifying.
I’m glad you were able to enjoy your trilogy movie night. It sounds very relaxing!
And thanks for the Ten Benefits of Reading. People need that reminder, I think.
I’ve been glued to the TV watching things unfold in Ukraine and becoming more upset. Hoping things will work out soon and the planned talks between the two countries will result in something positive.
Glad you enjoyed your movie trilogy! Always a fun way to spend an evening.
Thanks for sharing Ten Amazing Benefits of Reading Books.
Have a great weekend!
Love the idea of a trilogy movie! We watched Mall Cop this week and it was funny. Love the Ten benefits of reading. Have a good week!
That Meidas Touch Ukraine tribute is so good. I am going to try and post it to my Facebook Page. Thanks. My Sunday Salon post
Ditto what Deb said. LOL She and I are friends, and sometimes I read your post before she does, and I don’t see her comments/replies. This time, I saw hers right up front. I would like to post your Reading Benefits on my Facebook page. Would that be all right?
I love your benefits of reading graphic. I’ve always said the world would be a better place if everybody read lots of books. Have a great week!
