A Week in the Life of Dollycas
We had a pretty quiet week around here. We ventured out on Monday for my wound care appointment and enjoyed the nice weather. After that, I worked at my computer and Mr. Dollycas worked at his.
We did receive news this week that the powers that be at his job are starting to transition the staff back to working in the office. It is going to be a big change after having him every day since March 21, 2020. It was wonderful that his time here coincided with my cancer treatments so he could be here to take care of me and take me to most of my appointments. Hopefully, my wound care appointments will wrap up soon and then I just have to worry about my checkups and twice-yearly transfusions because his time won’t be as flexible. It will also be a transition for me being her alone again, well me and Daisy. I know he will be happy to see all his office friends again after all this time.
Kaden has been here this weekend. He is pretty self-sufficient and probably takes more care of us than we do of him 😆 As long as he has his XBox he is happy. Truthfully he is always a big help.
