A Week in the Life of Dollycas
It was a quiet week around here. I spent days working at the computer on tours, reviews, and giveaways, My evenings were filled with reading and watching television. I have been bingeing on Chicago Fire
Mr. Dollycas is doing well back at the office but he had a sore throat and headache that kept him home one day. I immediately thought it was COVID and was ready to lose it because we had avoided that by keeping him home. We used one of our at-home tests and it was negative. He felt well enough to return to work the next day and I breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Yesterday, Son #2 stopped by to help his dad change the oil in one of the cars. Charlotte came along and immediately snuggled up with Daughter #2 and they both took a nap.
Oh, and I have to mention it rained all week and by yesterday my body started to revolt. Aches and pains I know are weather-related and could all be fixed with some good old sunshine.

I hope your weather clears up, the rain goes away, and your aches and pains go with it. I’m glad your husband didn’t have Covid. I worry every time my husband coughs or sniffles, too… but it’s allergy season, so I have to expect some of that. Enjoy your new books!
