HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
A Week in the Life of Dollycas
I am still basking in the afterglow of the Backstreet Boys concert, playing the videos, and adding pictures from the girl’s phones. The picture above photo was posted by Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. Can you see me? LOL, we are almost halfway up on the right-hand side. They were great seats.
I spent most of Thursday with Daughter #2 at the Cancer Center for the appointments I had to cancel when I had that cold. I love seeing the Rad Doc and his nurse. They are both so positive and I was thrilled that after his exam he declared me “graduated” and that I don’t have to go back to see him for a year. Then we had a little wait for the Chemo Doc but we had our Kindles so we were both good. His appointment went pretty quick after he arrived but was disappointed to hear “I will see you in 3 months.” He also ordered another Bone Density Scan. Then we headed to the Chemo area for my Zometa infusion and of course, it was hard finding a good vein. Then one of my favorite chemo nurses came in and had the IV going in minutes. About a half hour later we were headed home.
The weekend was pretty quiet. Daughter #1 and her family are camping for the first time and Son #2 was away for the weekend. Yesterday was Mr. Dollycas’s birthday but the celebration was pretty low-key. We hope to celebrate as a family soon.
How was your week?

Such wonderful news! So happy for you!
It looks like you had great seat at the Backstreet Boys concert!
Congratulations on graduating to annual visits! That is certainly a milestone and brings joy to my heart! Yes, the “3 months” can be discouraging. I’m glad your favorite nurse was able to save the day! Those pokes hurt!
I see lots of cozy mysteries joined your home! 😊Happy reading!
Great news from the rad doctor! Sorry the chemo wasn’t quite so good. And the concert looks great! I had a blast at the NKOTB concert back in May. So I get it! Have a good week!

I’m glad you are done with the radiation, and I hope you’ll be done with the chemo soon! And the concert sounds terrific. Also, happy birthday to your husband!
My brother and his wife took the kids to see the concert too and had such a good time. Glad things are going well. Have a wonderful week!

Hurray for good chemo nurses! And I’m happy to hear you have “graduated” from the Rad Doc. Excellent.
You did have wonderful seats at the concert. Looking over pictures of a great event always stretches out my joy.
Here I am behind Deb as usual. One of these days, I’ll get my comment in before her. LOL
Glad all your appointments are ok, but I know you are disappointed to have to go back to the one in three months. I had a good week and did some fun things. sounds as if many fun things are ahead of you. Happy BD to your Mister!
