HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
A Week in the Life of Dollycas
Still working to catch up on blog review posts, pages, and book tours but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and that feels good. Mr. Dollycas is doing an excellent job at administering my antibiotics which would be impossible for me to do with just one hand. I have an appointment with the infectious disease doctor on Tuesday and hopefully will find out how much longer these infusions will need to continue.
On Thursday I had a check-in appointment with my oncologist. He was surprised to see my arm but we both quickly agreed the infection was not related to my cancer or the treatments. He is pleased that I am tolerating the Anastrozole so well. I will not see him again until April.
Friday night was Kaden’s football team’s last game of the regular season. Because it was so blasted cold Mr. Dollycas and I decided to stay home and watch the live stream on television. They won 56 – 14 with the first touchdown coming just 19 seconds into the game on a fumble recovery. The Columbus Cardinals are Conference Champs for the second year in a row and a Junior broke the school’s rushing record. I can’t wait to see his numbers at the end of next year. The playoffs begin next Friday.
Remington had his last game of the season yesterday and he was the captain. They won 34-12 giving them an undefeated season! Again it was too cold for Nana and Papa but Daughter #2 and Charlotte bundled up to cheer on the team. They had a great auntie/niece day!
Kaden supported his little brother too refereeing his games this year.
After the game, each player received this cool poster that came as part of their picture package. Remi is fourth from the left with his foot on the helmet.

Good on the grands and great that you have a live feed to watch and enjoy their games!
I’m happy you are continuing to improve healthwise and to get caught up on your blog activities.
Congratulations to these amazing football players! I’m glad you were able to stay home in the warmth of your home and still enjoy the games.
Looks like a good week! It’s always fun to catch up on the blog stuff. Have a great week!
What wonderful football photos. I went to my first ever soccer game, supporting a young third grade neighbor girl, and she scored her first goal ever in the game. I was so excited with the game, I forgot to take any pictures! LOL
Glad you are doing so much better. Good to hear!
