HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
A Week in the Life of Dollycas
It was a back-to-normal week around here. No doctor’s appointments, no lab work. My visiting nurse just stopped by on Monday for a few minutes to have me sign the papers to release me from their service. We didn’t have to leave the house to vote as we voted absentee weeks ago. Then it was blogging and reading and watching television at least until Friday.

Friday we were supposed to travel just a few miles up the road to watch the Columbus Cardinals play the Freedom Irish but before we could get there I started feeling sick and we had to turn the car around. The only good thing was that we could watch the game via live stream on television and WOW what a game it was. Columbus always gets off to a fast start but at the end of the 1st quarter, the score was 3-2 after the Cardinals got a safety but still we were the team behind. We went into halftime still down by 1 at 16 – 15. Then after the half, the boys seemed to get their mojo back. The defense stopped the Irish from scoring again and caught some key interceptions. The whole team played their hearts out and won 16 – 32 and are now Division Champs and are headed for the State Championship this Thursday night and I intend to bundle up and be there to watch in person and get the Kaden hug I missed on Friday.
Speaking of Kaden, yesterday was his 15th birthday. No big plans with this side of the family yet, you know how teenagers are and we all seem to have football on our minds. I am hoping we can get together soon to celebrate.
Sadly because I was still feeling off yesterday I missed Natalie’s basketball tournament. Daughter #2 went by herself to cheer her on. Natalie did great. Her team won all 4 games!
Daughter #2 was surprised to find this very special woman on the bleachers. Her grandma!!

Excellent week, other than the couple of off days…
Hope you are feeling better. Yes, football has taking over our home too.
Sorry you weren’t feeling well enough to attend the game in person. Hopefully, you’ll be able to go to the championship.

Enjoy all your cozies!
Aw, I know you were disappointed not to be at the games in person. Congratulations to your very talented g-kids! They did well.
It will be fun to travel to all those fun places via your books!
Hope you’re feeling better soon so you can make those games! And you have quite a haul of books this week. Hope you enjoy them all!
