~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
I had a frustrating week all related to this blog. Free plug-ins changing to paid plugins, images not appearing in the right places, error messages, and more. This all made me realize it was time for another renovation.
So what I wanted to do was clone my blog and fix everything over the span of a week or two behind the scenes before presenting it to all of you lovely people.
The first cloning operation I tried failed, the second said my site was too large for their program, the 3rd stopped at about 30% and said they had a problem that they would fix for “free” and hours later, I am still waiting to hear back from them.
While waiting I did hear back from the wonderful people at Tiger Tech. They are my hosting service and have been helping me all week. The people there are amazing and so patient with the old low-tech lady. The man today gave me some options that would probably work better than cloning the whole site.
So, if you happen to drop by on a weekend or evening and you see a screen that says Under Construction or something to that effect I am not gone, I am just fixing some bugs and getting things back where they belong, And if you are ever in need of a fabulous hosting site for your own website or blog Tiger Tech is the way to go. A great price and fantastic customer service.
While I stayed home yesterday avoiding the frigid weather and trying to work on my blog Mr. Dollycas and Daughter #2 took Remi to his basketball tournament. His mom had to work this weekend so he arrived Friday night and is here until later today. His team played 4 games back to back. They won 2 and lost 2. Remi tells me he scored at least 17 points. His Papa says the team improves every week. Daughter #2 ran into some old friends from high school. Remi has another tournament next Sunday and I hope to have everything sorted out by then so I can go watch too.
Brighten my day! How was your week?

Sorry to hear you’ve had some frustrations relating to your blog and plugins. Are you using WordPress? I have had some frustrations lately too. Nearly all WordPress plugins used to be free – yay! – but then a lot of them became paid plugins, with no free alternatives available at all. Some just stopped working out of the blue. Very frustrating!
I hope you enjoy reading this week, and I hope your tech issues get fixed asap.
My Sunday Post.
How frustrating. I hope you get it all sorted out soon. I hope the upcoming week is better for you and for your blog! 🙂
When I first began blogging, I created Readerbuzz on three sites: Blogger, WordPress, and an educational blog site. I ended up sticking with Blogger, though there have been a lot of times I’ve wished I had chosen a different space. This summer will be fifteen years for me. I do hope you are able to get your issues resolved. That can be so frustrating.
Enjoy having Remi with you!
I recently had my son switch my blog back to WordPress because I was having all kinds of issues with my other one, mostly plug-ins. I liked the look of my other blog but this one is ok and so far so good. I’m just learning how to add and delete widgets etc. and the writing format is different but I’ll get the hang of it soon. I hope you get your issues figured out soon. I know how aggrevating it is.
I hope you get to go see Remi’s tournament Saturday!
Tech issues with blogs are a nightmare! I had a brief flirtation with WP but I jut had issue after issue to went back to blogger.
Hope you manage to iron out the remaining kinks without any more issues appearing!
Basketball must be fun for the little ones.
I tend to stay in too during the cold spells, like now!
