~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
The week started out normally but Mr. Dollycas actually left the house on Wednesday and Thursday to go into the office because the usual staff would be off. He did come home early Thursday to avoid driving in the upcoming snowstorm. Daisy spent most of the time watching out the windows for him to come home. Every time I tried to take her picture, she just laid down on her bed. She is such a little stinker.
We did get about 5 inches of snow but all around us towns had 8 – 10 inches. More snow is in the forecast so winter is not going away any time soon. I am so ready for Spring.
The weekend brought Daughter #1 up with Kaden and Remi so Mr. Dollycas could help her file her taxes. We also watched the Fall River Pirates Boys Sectional Playoff game. It was a fantastic game. They won in overtime and are now headed to State. I hate not living there anymore but it is wonderful to be able to watch their games on YouTube. Natalie was at the game to cheer her school on. I was so jealous.
I love having family around. It is going to be so quiet today when they have to go home.
How was your week?

Pets seem so intent on their owners but also on not providing good photo ops! Nice photo anyway.

Pets and children don’t care about our photos! I hope you have a great week.
I have never been able to take a video of my cockatiel saying, “Read,” and I can’t figure out why he stops talking when I try to film him!
Oh, snow! We have had an early spring, though it’s supposed to dip into the forties one night next week. Yesterday we got out to do a bioblitz and ended up walking three miles in the beautiful weather. Ah, but too soon it will be very hot, and then I’ll envy you your cool summer temps!
Oh Daisy…we did so want to see a picture of you looking out the window!!!
Ugh…I should get started on my taxes this week, I guess.
Daisy is so cute, I love animals! My oldest son has been working from home since January ’20 and has loved it since he had been driving for years over an hour in bumper to bumper freeway traffic each way. A week ago his boss told him they needed him to start coming into the office 3-4 times a week. He didn’t like that so he looked for another job and has an interview this week.
I love spending time with family too, nothing is better!
I miss snow so much!
I enjoyed catching up w you.
