A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
In addition to our normal daily tasks Mr. Dollycas and I finished our second puzzle. It was a little harder than we thought it would be. I was delighted to put in the final piece.
Kaden, Remi, and their parents stopped by for a quick visit Friday evening. Kaden had some news he wanted to share, in fact, a couple of things.
- First – He is planning to take his driver’s ed course this summer. Oh boy, I am not sure we are ready for that. The years are going much too fast.
- Second – He has been notified by his football coach that he will be on the Varsity team next year playing right in the center of the defensive line as nosetackle. He has been getting up early every morning all year to be at the school by 6 a.m. for weight training and regular practices will be starting soon.
I am so proud of him!
Both boys are happy that this is the last week of school. I am sure Natalie feels the same way.

Congratulations to Kaden! He will be experiencing lots of new and wonderful things in the next few months.
I’m glad to hear that my problems can be easily solved by a visit to Ikea. lol
Congratulations to Kaden, that is so exciting!
Love you bookish sign. The house I live in now is 1/3 the size of the one I moved from after my husband passed. I had our entertainment room and 2 spare bedrooms lined with bookshelves. Now I only have one bookshelf in my bedroom and even though it’s a large one it is only a small dot of what I did have. I gave SO MANY books to the library for their book sales and left some in random places for people to find. But I’m happy knowing other book lovers are enjoying them.
I like your Bookish sign too! Bookshelf space is rapidly running out at Rae’s Reads, my bookstore.
