HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Well, this was a cruddy week as I was sick with a bug for most of it.
But what I really want to share is where I was last Saturday.
Our family is growing! Son #2 and his girlfriend are expecting a baby sister for Charlotte and Thomas at the beginning of August but the baby is growing really fast, hard to believe with a 6’4″ dad, Charlotte was tall too, so they may deliver before the due date.
Last Saturday, family and friends gathered to celebrate. It was great to see some family we hadn’t seen in a long time. Sadly I was too busy talking, I forgot to take pictures. That just means we have to get together again soon.
Mr. Dollycas and I are so excited! We can’t wait to meet this precious little girl.
Friday, I pretty much stayed in the recliner. It was and still hurts to swallow but the head and body aches had started to calm down. Mr. Dollycas and I had committed to watching Thomas and Charlotte while their mom went to a wedding and dad had to work. They tried their best to be as good as they could be but by about noon I needed some rest and Mr. Dollycas was working. I was so thrilled to see Kaden and Remi walk through the door just then followed shortly by their mom, Daughter #1. REINFORCEMENTS! It wasn’t long before they were outside taking care of a task for Papa. When we picked out perennials last year we couldn’t agree on where to put the daylilies so they went in containers. This year, first we were surprised they survived and spread in some pretty shallow containers, then for some reason, it was an easy decision. We just needed some kid and daughter power.
It looks great. Only one was blooming and that bloom was soon picked and brought to me to make me feel better. I will take another picture when more have risen to their glory.
I am pushing the fluids and resting and starting to return to work after missing most of three days. It is time for things to get back to normal.

Congrats on the coming grandbaby. that must be exciting!
Must be something going around as I also came down with a bad sore throat and cough. Had to take lots of cough syrups and tablets, but am on the mend. Hope you are 100 percent better soon.
