HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
No engagements this week, LOL
On Monday, Mr. Dollycas and I traveled to watch Natalie’s double-header baseball games. We did take Daisy along but she barked all the way there as if all the cars around us were her mortal enemies. When we arrived at the game it was obvious she was overstimulated because she was nippy even with Natalie and her mom, so she and Mr. Dollycas watched from the car while I was able to watch the game from a great seat behind the backstop.
Natalie and her team did great, winning both games. Natalie was pitching when we arrived. She later moved to third place. She also had some nice hits. I believe the rest of her games for this season are away so I am so happy we made it to these games.
Daisy barked again all the way home except when we pulled into the Arby’s drive-thru. Then she was very attentive to everything she was smelling. When she was a pup she loved going for rides. I hope we can get her used to them again. We hate leaving her home alone.
The rest of the week was spent reading, blogging, book tours, and a little television. The writer’s and now actors’ strike has gone on so long that it is affecting both movies and television. I hope a fair agreement can be reached soon.
Oh, and the littlest grands did stop by for a visit a time or two.
How was your week?

Sorry your dog didn’t do so well with the trip. Still sounds like a good week overall.
Poor dog! I wonder why it now doesn;t enjoy car trips. Poor you!

Sounds like a great time at the double header. I hope you enjoy your new books! Here’s my SP: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2023/07/23/sunday-post-full-steam-ahead-sundaypost/
So good to see you getting out and about…glad the kids won their double header and that the other grandds came by for a visit…
All your g-kids are adorable. Didn’t your Natalie do well!
Books fall open—you fall in…yep! That’s exactly what happens to me.
Sorry about Daisy being a little problem. We have begun looking at dogs again and have seen four the last few days–all named Daisy.
Have a great week.
