~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
This challenge has reached Day 22! I have been reading every day, even more than normal.
I was also blessed to have a clear mammogram this month. But there are so many women and men that will receive the notice I received 3 years ago. Cancer takes so many people way too soon. To stop this it is important to support The American Cancer Society for research and to help people like me who had to fight with no promise that it won’t come back.
I still need to raise $95 to reach my goal. If you can donate $5 or $10 I will be sure to reach it by the end of the month. You can Donate Here
Thank you, so much!

I had a very busy week booking and keeping up with all the tour materials this week. While October has been delightfully full of tours November requests have been off the charts. That makes me and Mr. Dollycas so happy. We love helping authors promote their books.
I also read some really good books and am finally caught up on reviews.
Friday we again traveled to our hometown to watch Kaden play football. It was the first playoff game and after a rocky start, the team got it together for another big win. 49 – 0. Due to the one loss this year, we will be on the road next week, so this was the last home game of the year. We are all so proud of Kaden. Whenever he plays he is double-teamed and works so hard to break through. Each week he does that more and more. What I love is that he always runs off the field with a smile on his face. He really loves the game.
While it was a huge game for the team, it was extra special for 1 Senior. Colton Brunell has broken the state’s all-time rushing record and he did it in only 36 games. He ran for 198 yards and three touchdowns Friday night. His record-breaking carry came on a 27-yard run midway through the 4th quarter. He now has 6,948 yards during his career with another game this Friday night. He will be going to college and playing football in North Dakota next year. Watching him play the last two years has been a lot of fun. He is a humble young man and gives credit to the linemen who open up the holes for him to run through. He also plays on defense with Kaden and I am thrilled that Kaden got to play with and learn from him.
It was strange to have a Saturday off from sports with Remi’s and Thomas’s football seasons for the year complete. But Natalie’s basketball practices have started and Remi’s practices begin this week with his mom as his coach. She played basketball in high school and college and it has been very hard for her to stay on the sidelines so taking on the coaching job is the place she needs to be. The games will be starting soon.
How was your week?

I’m glad to read your results came back clean. It’s so true.. many people don’t receive that kind of news unfortunately. It definitely makes you appreciate the time you have with your loved ones.
Love the football photo’s!
Have a great week and happy reading.
What a great book week!
Glad to see Kaden’s team is continuing to do well, and that Kaden is having another great year.
And it’s also wonderful that your work promoting authors is increasing greatly in November!
We always felt out of sorts when there was no game. I miss going. Enjoy every moment!
Hey, Lori,
Not book related, but family related… I’ll put money (or books 😏) down as a bet that Kaden gets a football scholarship!
Hope so!!
EVERYONE appreciates what you do to promote authors! I try to do the same, inviting local authors to sign and sell their books at bookstore appearances at RAE’S READS, my bookstore.
