HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Mr. Dollycas pushed himself last Sunday to start decking our halls in both the front and side of the house.
Sadly, his head cold is still holding on. He missed some work hours but did his best to make them all up. I wish he just would have rested.
Also on Sunday, it was brought to my attention, that I posted about Daisy Mae’s 3rd birthday last Tuesday on Facebook and Instagram, but failed to mention it last week in my Sunday post. So Happy Birthday Miss Daisy, it will be just a few weeks and we will celebrate again on your “gotcha day”.
Yesterday, Mr. Dollycas was feeling better and I finally got out of the house. We went to watch Natalie in a basketball tournament at her school. My gosh, these girls are so much fun to watch. They all have their strengths and play so well together. They won their first 2 games handily but the 3rd one started out a little rough. Their baskets just weren’t sinking. They caught fire at the start of the second half and tied things up with just 7 seconds to go. One of our girls was fouled and missed a free throw, but then she was fouled again and made the shot. Time ran out and the Pirates won the game and the tournament. It was a fun way to get my heart rate up. I love watching her play. The girls are 12 – 0 in the regular season and 3 – 0 in tournaments.
Today, we are off to Mr. Remington’s basketball tournament.

Your husband put up some awesome decorations. I’m sorry his cold is lingering for such a long time.
Glad you were able to get out and watch some basketball!
I hope your husband is feeling better soon.
Love your Christmasy house.
