~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
I have been feeling better this week, I believe that my doctor doubling the dosage of one of my meds was the problem and it shocked my system. I skipped the med for a day and am gradually getting to the dosage he wanted me to be on. Fingers crossed I have the side effects under control.
May has brought warmer temps and some really good thunderstorms. I don’t mind the rain if I don’t have to go out in it, which I didn’t have to do last week. The grass is green and growing like crazy which makes Mr. Dollycas very happy. He loves tooling around on his lawnmower. The daylilies are starting to bloom, but my lavender and daisies don’t seem to have survived. I am going to put them in containers this year so I can keep a better eye on them.
Granddaughter Natalie had a great game Thursday night. She pitched a few innings and her team won 19-1. We haven’t made it to a game yet this year but plan to go tomorrow night. I have to say her mother wasn’t into sports when she was in school and neither was her dad but I know that while her mother and the rest of us cheer her on from the bleachers her dad is cheering her on from heaven. According to Daughter #1, Natalie inherited her sports ability from her. 🙂
Kaden had 3 track meets last week. Last Monday, the message I received was “not my best”. Thursday, he was back to “great”. Friday night was a big meet with several schools. He didn’t get home until after midnight. He thinks he did really well but they have to wait for everything to be entered into a website before he knows where he placed.
Other than that I have been working on my blog and tours, reading, watching too much television, and Monopoly Go has reeled me back in. It is truly addicting.

I hope you continue to feel better, and can have a great week. 🙂
Sounds like your grandkids are keeping you busy watching sports. Hope tomorrow’s game goes as well as the 19-1 game so you can enjoy watching a win.
As to that meme, that is so me. I have to cut down on books so I can feel like I’m catching up a little.
My grandson prefers going to the gym to team sports – but it must be such fun watching from the sidelines and encouraging the grandchildren. I hope you have a great week:).
Looks like a busy week. I hope you continue to feel better. We have had a mix of sun, rain and thunderstorms!
Have a great rest of the weekend!

i hope the med issue is sorted and that you have a good week. So nice to see your grandkiddos dedication to their sports! Happy Reading!
So all in all, a good week!
Ejoy the games and glad Mr. Dollycass is feeling better, too
Spring always means back to sport season not so much in my house as my kid was a band member so spring meant concerts and lots of traveling. IN highschool he played at the football and basketball games but april to the end of the year was all the concert traveling. Weather here is typical icky rainy weather so not much chance to go out at least for a few more weeks then it be hot and icky. Have a great reading week.
I hope that you continue to feel better! Have a great week.
I’m so glad to hear that you think you’ve figured out the reason you weren’t feeling great. I hope you continue to improve.
Wow! Great going, Natalie!
