HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Happy Mother’s Day!
Today I am missing my mom, treasuring my mother-in-law, and proud of my girls, Kaden and Remi’s mom, Natalie’s mom,
and Thomas, Charlotte, and Athena’s mom.
I am blessed to have great women/moms in my life.
Monday was a busy day. Mr. Dollycas had a doctor’s appointment in the morning. He is still working out his back and neck pain. I had a 6-month cancer follow-up in the afternoon that went great. Then we went to watch Natalie play a softball doubleheader. The teams were very evenly matched but Natalie’s team won the first game 7-2. The second game was a nail-biter. Going into the 5th and final inning the score was tied 4-4. Natalie was playing right field and a left-handed hitter was up to bat. She had a great hit in Natalie’s direction and somehow Natalie caught that ball for the 3rd out. Her glove was upside down and twisted but she caught it. We asked if she watched it all the way and she said “I think I closed my eyes”. They scored another run at their at-bat to win 5-4. That was plenty of excitement for us old folks.
Yesterday morning it was opening day at the local ballpark and we went to Thomas’s first baseball game ever and we think that boy has found his sport. He hit the ball, ran fast, fielded well, and while he looked a little nervous once in a while it looked like he was having fun. We had fun watching him and all the other boys too.
Later Daughter #1 and Kaden came up to help us with a project. I purchased myself a new recliner because I needed one that would elevate my feet without reclining the back. I couldn’t read or watch television at that angle but I needed the legs raised as often as possible to relieve the edema in my bad leg. The chair I had has massage and heat like the new one, I just needed that one feature. So Mr. Dollycas’s recliner was moved to another room and he now has my old one which should help relieve some of his back pain. Then the kids put together my new one and I love it. It is going to be hard to walk away from when I need to be here at the computer.
How was your week?

You had a great week with your family! Yes, we should celebrate all the moms we have in our lives.
Glad you are able to keep your feet elevated and still be able to do what you need to do.
Happy Mother’s Day! The baseball looks fun.
Happy Mother’s Day to you.

What a wonderful week you had!
Such fun being a grandparent!
Happy Mother’s Day!
Sounds like a fun week filled with great family moments. I love my recliner with the remote no heat massage but no more handle to move to get it to recline. Mordern technology is so nice. Have a great week.
Happy for your new chair! That should make a big difference!
