HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
It was a pretty quiet week around here except for Tuesday when we celebrated Mr. Dollycas’s birthday.
Daughter #1 was on vacation and she and her family stopped by on the way home from the Shalom Zoo in West Bend. They said the bears were very friendly. I prefer the tigers. They had fun and now I want to get to this zoo.
A little later Son #2 stopped by with his family. We learned Athena has the handle on walking but I was too slow to get a picture. She had fun last week at the beach though, with her mom, dad, and sister. It’s hard to believe she will turn 1 in just a couple of weeks.
Daughter #2 called that evening which her dad appreciated.
The rest of the week was spent on blogging, book tours, and getting my reading mojo back. I think part of my problem is that I am not sleeping well. I sleep on my right side, the partially paralyzed side. My mattress has always been comfortable but the last few weeks I have been waking up with my right hip hurting. It is also difficult to get out of bed. Sometimes I need help. After I am up for 5 or 10 minutes the pain lessens by a lot and I can move normally. But an old lady like me is up a few times during the night and it hurts every time. I may have to start looking for a new mattress although the one I have was listed for a side sleeper and I had no problems until now. It’s hell getting old. 😥
How was your week?

I agree completely. I’d like to cash in my warranty on this body some days. Or has the warranty expired?
Happy birthday to your husband! It sounds like he had a good one.
My mattress, too, is failing…I have to get the point where the discomfort of it reaches equality of the search for a new mattress makes it worth the effort… 😉
Happy belated birthday to Mr. Dollycass…
BTW, bears are NEVER friendly…take it from an Alaskan who regularly has bear in her yard
Lovely photos. My son turned 1 on 1 July. How quickly does the time go?!
I hope that you feel better soon or at least get some better nights. Mattresses can be a nightmare. We have so many toppers and covers on ours…
Have a great rest of the weekend!
