The Sunday Salon is a Facebook group that has become an
informal week-in-review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
You can also link up weekly on Readerbuzz.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
What a week! Politics played front and center for most of it. In my opinion, one man made a very difficult decision so his party could make a step forward while the other showed their true colors.
I am a 63-year-old disabled white woman with 2 daughters, 2 daughters in law, and 3 granddaughters. I understand the assignment.
Please educate yourself about Project 2025/Agenda 47.
The Packers drew our interest as our young quarterback received a contract extension and a tradition returned with the start of practice. Kids stand in line with their bikes for hours waiting for the team to cross from the stadium to the practice field so that those big guys can pedal all the way and talk to their young fans.
Now the Olympics are keeping us captivated.
How was your week?
Weekly Rewind – July 22 – 27, 2024

Looks like some fun books there — hope you enjoy!
The election stuff is agonising, even watching from the UK. We managed to boot out the Conservatives in ours — here’s hoping it’s a sign!
Yes, we understand the assignment too. Despite being on vacation we kept up on the news. Have a lovely week.
Love it?
I meant Love it!
Yes to your political comments. Yes to “understand the assignment.” Yes to let’s be sure no one prevents democracy from continuing (as promised by the evil guy).
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Politics is scary at the moment. We in the UK have finally got some sensible people in power (well I say that you never really know what goes on behind closed doors!!) so we shall see what happens.
Your book haul looks good.
Have a great week ahead.

Oh, I do hope people are finally starting to wake up and listen to the truth about this man who has wrapped himself up in the flag and the Bible without knowing much about either one.
Enjoy these Olympics! It’s so fun to see the world come together.
