~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Our week again started with football. Kaden had an away game but we didn’t make the trip. We were thrilled that the game was live-streamed so we could watch it from our easy chairs. I was able to grab a few images from the screen.
Now that we found this app we could go back and watch the previous Monday’s game and catch a picture after Kaden “pancaked” a guy. He has just started playing on offense and this picture shows he’s killing it. He does give the guy a hand to get up.
Kaden played again on Friday night. We traveled about 90 minutes away and were happy Daughter #2 and her husband were able to drop by for a couple of quarters. The Cardinals crushed it and were ahead 14-0 with 7:23 minutes left in the 1st quarter. The final score was 49-14. The underclassmen were able to get some Varsity playing time in the final quarter. The team locked up the Conference Championship undefeated 9 – 0 overall, and 6 – 0 in the conference. The playoffs start this Friday with a home game.

Yesterday was the big day for Daughter #1 but as I type this the event has yet to take place. I will have some pictures to share next week.
We are continuing to get ready for Son #2’s wedding as well which will be this Saturday.
How was your week?

Loch Ness Murder is FREE right now on Amazon.
I received Yuletide Market Murder from the author for review.
I believe I was sent What We Sacrifice for Magic by mistake as it is not the type of book I usually read. Watch for a giveaway.

Enjoy both of your family’s wonderful weddings! Those plus football will keep you very, very busy.
Thanks for the heads up about To Kill a Mockingbird.
Sounds like a great week with the family. Love the quote and the pic!
Have a great time at the weddings. Thanks for mentioning To Kill A Mockingbird. I read it years ago but after seeing it in your post I went to Amazon and bought the audio.
