HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!

This was an unusual week. I was scheduled to have my Zometa infusion Tuesday but I woke up feeling downright crappy plus it was freezing outside so we called and rescheduled for this Tuesday when it will be even colder than last Tuesday. It is for later in the day so we may hit a high pocket of -1 degrees.
I felt better Wednesday but I just couldn’t keep my eyes open. Good thing my boss isn’t a tyrant because I dozed off at my desk several times. Thursday I just felt off all day but stayed awake and finished things I hadn’t earlier in the week. I slept really well that night and woke up Friday feeling like myself and well-rested. It has to be something because yesterday Mr. Dollycas had the same kind of day I had on Wednesday.

Thursday was a sad day around our house and Wisconsin. Bob Uecker, aka Mr. Baseball, passed away at the age of 90. We were huge fans. He was the longtime voice of the Milwaukee Brewers and a comedian who appeared over 100 times on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Uecker reached most households as one of the Miller Lite All-Stars in popular commercials for the beer brand based in Milwaukee. He later launched his TV acting career in 1985 on the ABC sitcom Mr. Belvedere. He also played the iconic role of Harry Doyle in Major League 1 and 2. There are two statues to honor him at the stadium now known as American Family Field. It won’t be the same without hearing his home run catchphrase — ‘Get up, get up, get outta here, gone!’ There will never be another Bob Uecker.

I’m sorry you weren’t feeling well, but I’m glad you are better, and I hope your husband is feeling better soon.
I’m so cold today that I just decided to stay home in my pjs all day!
Whoa, that’s cold! My brother-in-law and his wife are in the northern part of Minnesota, and she texted me this morning that it was -21 F. I like snow and cold weather, but that’s taking things a bit too far.
I’m glad you’re feeling better, and I hope you’re able to get your infusion on Tuesday. Stay warm!
I hope this week is better for you and that the infusion goes well!
