A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
My sister recently moved to an assisted living facility, and last Sunday we finally got to visit her. Giving up her independence is understandably hard, but she is getting pretty well settled. She still wants a few more things from her house before it is cleared out and put up for sale. I forgot to snap a picture, but her facility posts pictures on their Facebook page, and I love seeing her smile. She is in the blue.
Thursday, I had my annual mammogram. It was the first time I arrived at the clinic with no trepidation. After the last few crazy months, I just knew it would be no big deal. I was right, totally clear, and told to come back in a year. I see my oncologist this week, and I am hoping he decides I don’t need to see him for a year, too.
Earlier this week, we learned Kaden is on the Junior Prom Court! I am confused, as there are twice as many girls as boys 🙂 Kaden is 2nd from the right in the back row.
The prom is tonight, and as I type this, he is off getting pictures taken and out for dinner. The dance will be at the high school tonight. His mom did share 1 picture.
I am still working to catch up on a bunch of things like my Challenge and Book Recommendations pages, and get the reviews I have written posted to all the sites. I am sending out new book tour invitations every day. We are always looking for new tour hosts. Bloggers, Bookstagramers, BookTokers, I would love to have you join our team. Info Here.
In other news, politics is making my head explode on a daily basis. The week included the border czar threatening to arrest our governor.

I feel like I’m out of ideas about what to do with the madness going on in the political world. I don’t want to feel hopeless.
I’m glad your mammogram went so well, Lori!
It’s great that you’re feeling better.
Glad you got great news on your test results!
Have a great week!
Great news on the medical events! Arrest your governor? Yikes. So much happens these days it’s hard to keep up. I suspect that’s by design. I’ll look into your book tours. That sounds fun.
