The Sunday Salon is a Facebook group that has become an
informal week-in-review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Are you a Beach Boys fan?
May Brian Wilson Rest in Peace.
Remi and Natalie had ball games this week. Natalie’s team won, but Remi’s team lost. Kaden had his track athletic banquet. “Big Selj” had a good year throwing the shot and the discus. Mr. Dollycas and I didn’t attend anything this week because his PT appointments were later in the day, and he had a couple of days when he was feeling under the weather. We should be able to hit the road next week.
I am finally starting to get my reading mojo back. I hope it sticks around. I was able to complete 4 books last week for the first time in a long time.
I also started watching The Pitt on Max, starring Noah Wyle. I am halfway through the first season and have a hard time turning it off to go to sleep.
There was a lot of political drama this week that was infuriating and heartbreaking. I decided to stay off Facebook yesterday except for doing a couple of posts. I wanted to go to a nearby No King’s rally, but it wasn’t in the cards this time. I am so thankful and appreciative of everyone who took part in the very important peaceful protests. The shooter in Minneapolis had me flipping between news channels most of the day. As I write this, he is still at large.
Escaping Into A Good Book was a perfect way to spend yesterday after getting my blog stuff done.

Lori, I’m so glad you got your reading mojo back!
And it felt fantastic to be part of a huge group of people yesterday who were speaking up for the things that are important to them. Our state is such a mess politically and so many things have been forced down our throats—it felt good to know I am not alone.
So glad you were able to attend.
I added The Pitt to my To Be Watch list. It looks like a good immersive distraction.
My emotions this past week were off the chart. Attending the No Kings protest helped, a little. I’m sorry that you didn’t get that release. I hope the photos are encouraging. We expected 2000 at the location where I was and got 7000. It looks like that sort of thing happened all across the country.
Wow, that’s a fantastic turnout. The numbers were astounding everywhere.
I love The Pitt. I can’t wait for season 2. Have a great week!
Glad you got your reading mojo back!
Have a great week!
It’s a fine time to get back your reading mojo – I’m finding being able to escape into a good book instead of depressing myself with the News is ideal, right now. You must be so pleased your grandchildren are such avid sports lovers – so many children simply don’t get enough exercise. I hope the coming week is a good one:).
