HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Mr. Dollycas is still recovering from his recent hospital stay, but I wasn’t going to miss Thomas’s last baseball game of the year. His parents dropped him off at the field for warmups and then came to pick me up. I am so glad I went. Thomas had an in-the-park home run. As you can imagine, for these young ones, it meant a variety of errors by the other team, but that doesn’t take away from it at all, or the smile on his face. He scored again in a later inning and was the only player on his team to score twice in the game. It was even more special because on our way to the parking lot, his coach stopped him and told him how well he played and how much he improved over the season. Positive reinforcement means so much at this age.
I have to share a picture of my beautiful daylilies. The daisies didn’t fare as well this year, so I will need to do some research and maybe plant them in a new place for next year.

It was another busy week of reading, blogging, TV watching, relaxing, and enjoying these wonderful summer days.

Great job to Thomas! And my day lilies right now are around the corner from my porch, so I finally saw one yesterday, but I think I missed a lot! My daisies are getting ready to bloom, and then I expect my butterfly bush 🙂
So glad you were able to make Thomas’s game and that he did so well:)). And those day lilies are fabulous!!
