HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Last Sunday, we celebrated the 2nd birthday of Miss Athena. That little girl loves Scooby Doo, and she is blessed to have a talented, crafty mom who turned a Little Tykes coupe into a Mystery Machine. It was a hot day, but the kids had plenty of water fun, and the adults had a canopy for shade. We were all treated to a wonderful cookout with Son #2 as our awesome grillmaster.

Soccer season has started for Thomas (#2), and we attended his game on Thursday. It’s always great to see how much these children improve year to year. The whole team played together so well, and the fundamentals are starting to fall into place. Thomas had several close goal shots, and 1 hit the mark. Several of the boys scored. The boy playing goalie for our team had an excellent game. He stopped and blocked several kicks. It was so much fun to watch.

The Wisconsin weather all week until yesterday was what I love. The sun was shining, the temperatures were in the high 70s and low 80s, and there was some nice breezes. I wish I had been able to get outside and enjoy it more. Yesterday, storms moved in, and rain is in the forecast for the next 4-5 days. Right now, our area is under a flood watch through Monday. I hope the ground can handle all the moisture the sky drops, and no one has property damage.
On the blogging and book tour front, we learned that Rafflecopter is shutting down on October 1 after 15 years. It has been our go-to for book tour giveaways, but it was becoming glitchy and filled with entries from bots. We had been researching and planning to make a change in the new year, so this closure moved up our timetable. Mr. Dollycas has become my Rafflecopter guru over the last few years, so he was tasked with finding an option that works for us and our tour hosts without breaking the bank. We will be trying out a new option soon, with other options as backup if needed.

It’s great when the grandchildren love their sports – it’s such a healthy activity. You must be very proud. I hope your area stays free from flooding and you’re back to sunshine sooner than predicted. Have a good week.
Happy birthday to the little one!
I wish we had Wisconsin weather in Ohio. It’s been hot and it will be hotter today and tomorrow. Plus poor air quality from the fires out west and in Canada. Ours has been a less than stellar summer. Enjoy Wisconsin!

Good to hear you were able to watch the littles in their soccer games and tha the Birthday Party was a great success!
Please tell Mr. Dollycass NOT to use GLEAM…it’s awkward and time consuming…NOT a fan.
Have a good week!
The Mystery Machine is fantastic! I love it! How creative and crafty! I hope you all stay dry!
Love the Mystery Machine!
I hope you find a replacement for Rafflecopter!
Have a great week!
It can be so difficult when a relied-upon technology shuts down. I’m still sad that Google no longer has some of the features for bloggers that it originally had. Good luck with finding a replacement for Rafflecopter.
