HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
It’s been a little crazy around here the last couple of weeks. Daughter #2 has moved home (long story), and her baby is due this week. The other kids all worked hard to bring her and everything back, safely storing what wasn’t needed today, and getting everything set up here for her and the baby. I am so happy that we will all be on hand to help her in any way we can. It is going to be fun and maybe a bit challenging to have a newborn in the house after so many years, but Nana and Papa are excited to welcome this new little boy into the family.
Thomas wrapped up his soccer season yesterday. We are now in full football mode.
The girls had fun too!
Remi played awesome yesterday,
scoring 2 touchdowns in their 20 – 8 victory.
Sadly, Nana missed both sporting events due to some hip pain. This seems to happen occasionally when I sleep for too many hours on that paralyzed side. A good night’s sleep is great, but those nightly bathroom trips keep all the joints moving. As usually happens, I will be free of hip pain today or tomorrow, until it happens again. It really sucks getting old!
I also reviewed a great book last week. Another Best Read of 2025 for me. Guess Again by Charlie Donlea is a suspense thriller set here in Wisconsin. You can read my review here.
