HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
It was a quiet week here, enjoying time with our new grandson, who will be a month old on Tuesday. Not going to lie, I could play with him, feed him, watch him sleep all day long. We haven’t been this hands-on with a newborn since Kaden entered the world, and we are enjoying every minute of it.
And in Washington, DC, the shutdown continues. People are receiving notifications of doubling and tripling insurance premiums and SNAP benefits have been halted. But the Lincoln bathroom got a big remodel with more marble than you can imagine, the President embarrassed all of us with his antics and lies in Asia, boats are being blown up in the Caribbean and Pacific, killing over 25 people/fishermen with no evidence they were trafficking drugs and last night he hosted a Great Gatsby-themed gala at Mar-a-lago, complete with dancing girls, some in giant champagne glasses. His skewed view of our country is delusional; maybe that was why he needed another MRI and cognitive tests.

Ugh. That man. I can’t bear to think that he was elected by the people. And Congress? Where are you? All of this makes me so angry.
Just watching that precious baby lifts my spirits!
