Another week has gone by. 2025 seems to be going at breakneck speed.
This little guy is already 1 month old. He weighed 10 lbs 14 ozs at his doctor’s check-up. He is smiling more, spends more time awake and “talking”, and loves cuddle time with Mama, Nana, and Papa. We are so blessed every day with each new discovery he makes.
School basketball is underway for Remington. They are playing 2 – 3 games a week. Daughter #2, Korbyn, and I went to his game last Tuesday night. Daughter #1 met us in the parking lot, got the baby in the stroller, and took off while Daughter #2 unloaded my scooter and got me into the school. The baby was a big hit with all the team’s parents and some of the kids.
Remi’s team eeked out a win 26 – 24. He made a few baskets and free throws to contribute to the win, but admitted they had all played better the night before 🙂 We missed having Papa along to get some action shots. Remi is wearing #0 this year.
I have escaped into several good books lately. I added 1 more to my Best Reads List – Missing at Christmas (Love Inspired Suspense) by Deena Alexander. Deena writes books that are impossible to put down, with characters that are easy to get invested in. I look forward to every book in this series.
