HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Mr. Dollycas and I had our annual eye appointment on Tuesday. We went to a clinic that recently opened by the local hospital. Everyone there was so friendly and took great care of the old disabled people. I really liked the Ophthalmologist. He’s young and explained things so well. Our eyes had small changes, no diabetic damage, and just glimmers of cataracts. Our eyes are so precious. I used to put off going because I hated getting my eyes dilated and hadn’t found a clinic/store I liked. I hope this doctor and his staff stick around a long time. Be sure to get your eyes checked as often as recommended for your age and health.

Because Mr. Dollycas took time off from work for his eye appointment, he was able to go with Daughter #2, Korbyn, and me to Remi’s basketball game. We picked up Natalie on our way. Remi had another good game, grabbing rebounds and scoring 8 points.
Thursday, my favorite little man turned 2 months old. He smiles a lot now, and usually when he isn’t smiling, he sticks out his bottom lip and cries (yells at us) to feed him. He is taking shorter naps and wakes fewer times during the night.

My cataracts are developing at different rates in my eyes, and my doctor is waiting for the left eye to get as bad as the right (!) before she sends me for surgery. I wonder if I should get a second opinion.
Glad you got to see some good basketball with your family!
We are pleased to have found ophthalmologists that we like. We went for two different ones in the same office because my husband knew that he needed cataract surgery with a complication of a Fuch’s Dystrophy diagnosis. His doctor is a specialist in both and his surgeries went great without worsening the Fuch’s.
I, on the other hand, have one too many risk factors for glaucoma so I went to that specialist. Fortunately, both my glaucoma and my tiny cataracts are so stable that she doesn’t want to see me again for two years!
I’m glad that you’re having a good experience, too!
