~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Well, it happened. Influenza/colds have hit our family. First, Athena and her mom, then Daughter #1. On Thursday, Korbyn came home from daycare, congested and coughing, with no fever, though. Mr. Dollycas, Daughter #2, and I are still healthy, but she has not been getting much rest, taking care of him, with us filling in when we can. Sometimes, he just needs his mommy.

Charlotte was Student of the Week last week. Her daddy (Son #2) visited her class on Friday. He read a book to the class and told them about his work at the local prison, keeping it appropriate for the 1st graders. He then had lunch with Charlotte. When I asked her if she liked having Daddy come to school, she said, “Nana, it was the best! I have the best daddy!”

Mr. Dollycas and I spent the usual hours at our desks, then I escaped into some good books, while he caught up on some television shows.

Sending healthy vibes your way!
It’s wonderful when kids get a chance to feel proud of their parents. I’m glad Charlotte enjoyed her dad’s visit to school.
Hope everyone is better soon!
I hope everyone recovers quickly.
