HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Happy Mother’s Day!
Mr. Korbyn celebrated his 7-month birthday this week with a case of the croup. Treated so much differently these days. One dose of steroids and he was feeling better the next day. Still has a little cough but is as active as ever. He is still figuring out crawling forwards, but he has backwards down pat.

Friday night meant softball as we took in the 1st game of a weekend tournament for Natalie. The teams were evenly matched, and when time was almost expired, the game was tied. For some reason, the other team was allowed to bat, and when they scored, the game was over. Since we were the home team, our girls should have had another at bat, but I guess because time had expired, that was not allowed. Natalie had a nice hit, which I was thrilled to see. Her next game was early yesterday morning, and we weren’t there. The team won, and Natalie had a triple, a double, and a single. I think maybe I am a jinx 🙂 She has a summer full of tournaments, so I hope that is not the case.

Saturday was opening day of baseball for Thomas. He walked every time he was up to bat, scored, and had some nice plays in the outfield. They won 3-2. One of the older-aged teams was short on players, and Thomas was asked to play with them. He kept up his streak of walks and again did great in centerfield. The team lost by one run. The sunshine was very deceptive because the wind was awful. According to my weather app, it was 61 degrees, but it felt like 43. I am still thawing out. Thomas and Kobyn were both thrilled that cousin Kaden came to the games.

Sounds like a good week! I just put It Happened One Murder on hold at the library. I loved her YA books so I’m excited to read this. And the cover is great. I hope you have a lovely week 🙂

I bet they love having you at the games whether they win or not! I bet you will really be enjoying going to the games when the weather warms up there. I’m envious of your cool temps. It got up to 87 yesterday here.
