Tangled Up in Brew
by Joyce Tremel
This was an amazing book!
~A Date With A Book
Author Joyce Tremel has out done herself with the second book in the Brewing Trouble Mystery series…With twist and turns you will be guessing until the end.
~Shelley’s Book Case
I found myself instantly drawn to many of Max’s family and friends in this book.
~MARIE MCNARY – Grace. Gratitude. Life.
This one caught my attention from the beginning and sucked me right in.
~Melina’s Book Blog
I enjoyed meeting these characters and visiting the town of Three Rivers. Much of it felt like somewhere I visited before and that’s something I always enjoy about cozies. That and the colorful characters that roam the pages.
This was a fun addition to a great series. I like that this series takes place with a pub owner as the main character and the pub as the back drop.
~A. Holland Reads
This is a wonderful series that I really enjoy reading.
~3 Partners in Shopping; Nana, Mommy, &; Sissy too!
From the moment I started reading this book, I knew I would be in for a story that would take me on an adventure filled with intrigue and exciting characters.
This was a fun read…With a well-paced plot…
~Cassidy Salem Reads & Writes
It ‘s a really funny mystery, intriguing and engaging with two protagonists…. The plot kept me on edge from start to finish. I was excited each time I got to turn the page.
I loved this book! In fact, as I am writing this I am wondering how to get Amazon to give me 6+ stars to give this book. Joyce Tremel writes her characters, events, and even the murder with such realism that I am wishing this was real life.
… the murder mystery itself: the story has a well developed plot with subplots that twists and turns but ultimately ties back up together at the end.
~Cinnamon, Sugar, and a Little Bit of Murder
Great idea to set a cozy series in a brew pub. They are hugely popular right now and I’m sure most people can relate to the setting. I liked the setting of Pittsburgh as well.

Another intoxicating mystery featuring brew pub owner Maxine “Max” O’Hara—from the author of To Brew or Not to Brew.
BEER TODAY, GONE TOMORROW…
Brew pub owner Maxine “Max” O’Hara and her chef/boyfriend, Jake Lambert, are excited to be participating in the Three Rivers Brews and Burgers Festival. Max hopes to win the coveted Golden Stein for best craft beer—but even if she doesn’t, the festival will be great publicity for her Allegheny Brew House.
Or will it? When notoriously nasty food and beverage critic Reginald Mobley is drafted as a last-minute replacement judge, Max dreads a punishing review. Her fears are confirmed when Mobley literally spits out her beer, but things get even worse when the cranky critic drops dead right after trying one of Jake’s burgers. Now an ambitious new police detective is determined to pin Mobley’s murder on Max and Jake, who must pore over the clues to protect their freedom and reputations—and to find the self-appointed judge, jury, and executioner.
