I found this story to be very stirring especially with the level of corruption and secrets. Following Becks everywhere she went was intriguing and entertaining.

The story is both well-written and well-paced. The plot became increasingly complex as Becks gathered more and more information on Mennie’s family, friends, and overall background, with the resolution something of a surprise.
