DEADLY RESCUE is a story of determination, ego, and grit. A fascinating look at lesser-known parts of WWII added to my enjoyment of this stellar series. I eagerly await its next installment.

Overall, this is a solid, historical mystery with a good plot, authentic characters, and plenty of ‘atmosphere’ that will immerse the reader in the story. I especially loved the authentic atmosphere of Deadly Rescue. Everything throughout the story felt true to the period, from dialogue to thoughts to the setting.

Livvy makes a wonderful sleuth in this historical cozy. Readers who like historical fiction and particularly the WW II era, will find much that resonates and are sure to enjoy this one.
