Double Scoop of Murder
(Coffee & Cream Café Mysteries)
by Lena Gregory
I adored Double Scoop of Murder and think that all cozy fans will too! I highly recommend it! It has well-written characters who I love, an emphasis on family and friendship, and a well-plotted, puzzling murder mystery! I can’t wait for book 4!
~Christy’s Cozy Corners
I appreciated the twists and turns the mystery provided and was shocked by the dangerous confrontations.
With gasps and laughs DOUBLE SCOOP OF MURDER is a delectable treat.
~Cozy Up With Kathy
Laughter, ice cream, coffee, treasure, family, friends, romance, and murder. You might think at first glance that one of these things is not like the other, but you would be wrong because when master author Lena Gregory is at the helm, all the threads come together perfectly.
~Reading Is My SuperPower
This story features a solid mystery with excellent twists and some moments of true breath-gasping tension, that I just wasn’t sure who was the true culprit until the end! I will certainly return to this series for more.
~Sarah Can’t Stop Reading Books
Double Scoop of Murder was a wonderful continuation of the Coffee & Cream Café Mysteries. It’s the third book in the series written by Lena Gregory, and I’m hoping for more.
~Novels Alive
This was a fun cozy, with well-developed characters, and enough twists and turns to keep my interest. As expected from Gregory, she has all the components of a cozy mystery all wrapped up nicely. Although this is the third in the series, it was easily read as a stand-alone. Now, to go back and read the others.

I am giving Double Scoop of Murder by Lena Gregory a rating of five stars and recommending it to all. Ms. Gregory has a great way of weaving together a mystery while adding other elements that keep me coming back to try to solve another mystery before Dani does.
~Baroness’ Book Trove
I recommend Double Scoop of Murder, and this series, for cozy mystery fans. You are in for a treat with the malt shop setting, the fun cast of characters, and a great amateur detective.
~View from the Birdhouse
I loved every single page of this book from the characters, the setting, the mystery, and the author’s writing style. I found myself totally immersed in every facet of Double Scoop of Murder. The pacing was perfect and once I started the book, I just couldn’t put it down.

From author Lena Gregory comes a hunt for more than just treasure…
Danika Delany is loving running her uncle’s old fashioned malt shop on eastern Long Island and putting her own modern spin on the treats they serve. Life is finally looking up for her! That is, until local billionaire Maxwell Crumbholtz dies and leaves his fortune in the form of a treasure hunt. Chaos descends on Watchogue, and Dani and the rest of the gang from the Coffee & Cream Café join the melee when they enter the contest, try to decipher the clues, and go in search of the treasure. But Dani digs up more than she expected when she discovers a dead body buried instead of a treasure! To make matters worse, a witness claims to have seen Dani at the scene of the murder. Now, instead of a four-billion-dollar payday, Dani is on the hunt for a killer.
