One of Our Darcies is Dead is the first book in the new Hawthorne Cove Mystery series. I really enjoyed meeting Chloe and the residents of Hawthorne Cove. The setting, a Jane Austen festival, was beautifully described. I loved this entertaining but uncomplicated cozy mystery. Short, sweet, and engaging. A must-read for lovers of cozy mysteries, quirky characters solving their first mystery, and all things Regency.

One of Our Darcies is Dead has set this Hawthorne Cove Mystery Series off to a terrific start. With appealing characters, a clever mystery, hints of romance, and a delightful setting, it kept me totally entertained. I really enjoyed Chloe and Daphne’s strong friendship. The final pages give readers a little hint about book two, A Tale of Two Killers. I must say, I am very excited for my next virtual vacay to Hawthorne Cove.
