HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!

The world lost an extraordinary man last week. While no longer Catholic, I appreciated his pursuit to spread love and kindness throughout the world. His warm smile shows the love he had for all people. I hope the Cardinals choose another progressive pope to carry on his work. Both the current and former U.S. Presidents attended the funeral, and again, the current one was an embarrassment. He also stated that the reason he wanted to attend was because so many Catholics voted for him. I believe he had to receive dispensation to go from the Vatican because of his felony convictions. People believe part of the homily was directed toward the man and his policies, but it was probably said while he was playing on his phone or was asleep. I won’t share those pictures here.
Last Sunday afternoon, after a little bit of car trouble, Mr. Dollycas and I set off to make our Easter Bunny deliveries, and our 1st stop was to meet this little angel. She is such a good baby. She made the cutest faces and peeked at Nana a time or two. We had a nice visit with her parents and Natalie, too. It was hard to give Rylynn back so we could make the rest of our deliveries. I could have held her all day long.
Our next stop was Kaden and Remi’s other grandparents’ house. It was cold and windy, so it was a quick visit with hugs and presents, and we were on our way again.
Our final stop was to see Thomas, Charlotte, and Athena. You know that bunny is quite a reader, so books were included with the candy. Thomas loved one of his books. Charlotte went right for the candy, and Athena loved her book and bunny.

Friday was an even bigger day for me. I had my last IV antibiotic infusions at 3 a.m. and 9 a.m., and my home health nurse arrived shortly thereafter, and my PICC line was pulled. The incision only bled a little, and the 24-hour countdown was on. I have been taking sponge baths and no-rinse shampoo caps since coming home from the hospital. As soon as I complete this post, I am headed for a good, long shower.
More good news, I only need to write one more review to catch up on the ones I missed while I was in the hospital and recovering. With the 3 a.m. infusions ending, I should be able to get my reading back on schedule, too. I still need to catch up on my Reading Recommendations Page, my 2025 Challenges Page, and a few other things behind the scenes, but I hope to be back posting 7 days a week again soon with my regular reviews and giveaways. Thanks for being patient. I am almost there.
